Aleazik
General use
Aleazik is a musical random Midi composer software.
The files are saved in Midi 1.
Multi-timbral polyphony is 32 notes maximum under the conditions of use of MIDI channels.
Aleazik manage the rythm, the notes and choose them according the internal algorythm, but the user manages the execution of the defined parameters to guide the soft.
Aleazik is not a sequencer (the user control and compose his own music). Aleazik don't create automatic accompaniment music (the users build a music to help them to play instruments)
Why compose random music
The first reason:
1) musical notes, sounds or instruments percusions, specific scales (Chinese sound, feeling of jazz, symphony Nordic ...), sound effects, etc ... Finaly : materials (Aleazik).
2) your imagination, your creativity, your desire for experimentation or potential.
Creating random music is infinite, inexhaustible as nonredundant.
You can refine your music in remodeling the melody with traditional software composition and get the score.
You will discover remarkable items (motifs or melodies, harmonies and rhythms) from sequences Aleazik that you reuse your probably in more conventional pieces to create special atmospheres. Your compositions evolve.
This goes to the human realm, artistic interior.
The second reason:
In the past it, was difficult, impossible (except for mathematicians who did not necessarily the musical sense) to access random music production. Contemporary composers are progressively detached from the rules of classicism.
Today, with random music, we fully freed from all notions of musical logic to benefit sound calculations. Everyone can implement his own ideas. Therefore, to not distort the general concept of music while exploring the context random, Aleazik is able to control the abundance of notes. The user becomes master of the container and directs his own way.
You can explore this sofware without knowing the musical theory, mathematics or programming. This is a step towards deepening applied music (composition, instrumentation, interpretation ...). This is an experimental field, but also for musicians, the discovery of an unknown path of music. Saving multiple sequences of examples you will eventually choose a way that suits you and create a particular musical concept.
Customizable music composed by Aleazik does not meet standards of tonal music. Do not expect to develop traditional music. Some sequences can approach the formal part of the music. However, generaly the result is very singular.
